As we are gradually approaching the summer season, May is already here and it is so rich in different holidays and festivals! Russians and Ukrainians, as well as people in different countries around the world – all like to enjoy the warmth of the May sun out in the nature, at the riverside, in the forest or hiking in the mountains due to the days off at the beginning of May!

Please do not worry about the delay with getting the responses to your messages from the ladies – they must be having picnics out of the town!

On May 1, many countries of the world celebrate an international holiday - Labor Day (Spring and Labor Day), which was originally called the International Workers' Solidarity Day. Nowadays this holiday is celebrated in 142 countries, in some countries Labor Day is celebrated at a different time - for example, the USA and Japan. More than 80 countries (including India) do not have a Labor Day.

On the first Monday of May, the British celebrate the May Day with street processions and folk festivals. Musicians, jugglers on stilts, minstrels and taverns create here an authentic atmosphere of medieval carnival which is real fun and relaxing for everybody!
